It prevents you from considering important information which may lead to statistical error and bad decision. 2- anchoring anchoring is human tendency to rely on first information provided to them. This effect arises in problems of decision-making when people evaluate both the probabilities of random events and the consequences of alternatives. in the process of judging people involuntarily attach to some initial estimates that were given by someone earlier or generally received randomly. 3- overconfidence bias in most cases people overestimate the correctness of their decisions they think their decision is most valuable. Sometimes in a combination of anchor effect you feel overconfident. When you are overconfident you take decisions according to facts that correct your theory neglecting against thoughts. 4- personal factors in decision-making we make decisions on the basis of how we see the situation around us or perception of the world around us. It may interfere in the decision-making process. If you are a stereotype or view people holistically than of course you are taking decisions irrationally. Halo effect is you only see bad or good qualities. For example an employee never took any leave in a year but did not submit monthly reports. In this case you ignore the fact of the negligence of work but you always praise full attendance. Stereotype thinking means you think that all women are emotional; you promote men over women even though she is more capable etc. These factors plus emotion logics influence all stages of decision-making. 5- psychological reactance this general socio-psychological phenomenon is that any external pressure which is expressed in limiting the freedom of action or choice generates a strong response from the person. this reaction manifests in two ways. First a person has the desire to perform exactly that action and to take exactly that decision on which restrictions or prohibitions are imposed. this is because the subjective value and attractiveness of such forbidden decisions are much higher although objectively they may be worse than another solution to the problem. or second if a person is forced to strongly recommend any decision then reactance does not take this decision. In this case the subjective value of such a decision drops sharply although in reality it can be the best
